Harry Kane endured a poor display as Tottenham Hotspur lost to Chelsea on Sunday.
On the chalkboard
The England international played up front against the Blues as Spurs fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat.
Spurs’ performance was pockmarked by a number of individual errors; Paulo Gazzaniga conceded a penalty with a wild foul on Marcos Alonso while Son Heung-Min was sent off for appearing to lash out at Antonio Rudiger.
Kane, though, appeared isolated against the Blues.
He had 29 touches of the ball throughout the 90 minutes, the fewest of any Spurs player to play the entire game, per WhoScored.

Kane did have two shots on goal, with only one on target, and also won three aerial duels in a performance that did not feature a single dribble and a pass success rate of just 64%.
Despite his reputation as a player who leads the press, he did not manage to win a tackle either.

Jose Mourinho is at fault here.
Kane was left on his own by the Portuguese’s team selection.
He opted to play Dele Alli at No.10 and he was often forced to drop deep to help out Moussa Sissoko and, in the first half, Eric Dier, who were struggling to keep possession.
Lucas Moura, on the right flank, was forced into a role at left wing-back in the second half while Son, of course, was eventually sent off.
Money talks: How much did Levy pay for each of these Spurs stars?
Still, the selection and tactical tweaks left Kane on his own, ploughing a lone furrow.
His lack of impact on the result can be traced back to the teamsheet.
Meanwhile, Spurs fans have reacted to some major news on a defender.
